Hand Lake, Minnesota

I spent my summer exploring my home state of Minnesota. Was surprised to discover so many cool places, beautiful lakes and intriguing history. Still working on blogging about all my experiences, but the video above captures a small glimpse of all the incredible things I enjoyed during my summer staycation in Minnesota.

  1. Isn’t it interesting how we can live in a place most of our lives and never see or do much that others come from thousands of miles to do and see? I haven’t been to a Minnesota yet but when we do I have your post bookmarked for things to do

    1. That’s awesome. It truly is a beautiful state with so much to do. I’ve lived here 26 years and I discovered so many cool things – and finally made it up to the Mississippi River headwaters where you can wade across.

  2. So many awesome places to see! It’s fun learning about all the lakes and places to visit in MN this summer as I have followed along!

  3. So many hidden gems in Minnesota. After a couple of years here, I’ve come to really appreciate its beauty. I’m going to try to embrace the Winters too with sports and big wheel toys

    1. Going on my 27th winter and have to confess I don’t always welcome winter with a cheerful heart, but still a beautiful place to live. I’m in the south metro…where are you?
