Key West boutique hotel option: The historic and charming Eden House
The best boutique hotel to stay at in Key West, Florida, is the historic Eden House. Originally built in 1924, it is also the oldest hotel in Key West. This charming hotel offers several different suite types for travelers and a beautiful courtyard pool with sundeck. And all the best things to do in Key West are near the Eden House – very walkable.

Best boutique hotel in Key West, Florida: Eden House
Normally, I prefer oceanfront properties, but could not resist the historic, charming, and intimate Eden House in Key West, Florida. How could anyone with its private front-porch swings and hammocks? This boutique hotel offers a variety of room styles from a private room to an apartment to a two-story loft to two-bedroom units. We chose one of the Eden House’s roomy apartments with a separate bedroom.
We would definitely stay at Eden House again the next time we visit Key West. This historic hotel is perfect if you’re looking for the more intimate and private boutique experience.

That looks beautiful. I would Love to go to the keys this summer!
What a quaint little property. You’re right, we usually opt for beachfront too, but this place is pretty hard to pass up and it looks like it has all the Key West charm you need!
We were not disappointed for choosing this place over those right on the ocean. I loved the history, relaxed vibe and that you could walk anywhere on the island.
It reminds me of Hemmingway. I always associate Key West with Hemmingway. I love that they have a resident cat. The pool and gazebo area look great, very relaxing. I would love an adult getaway here.
What a cute place to stay. I love how each unit has their own outdoor shower. This would be perfect for after spending a day at the beach. I hate tracking sand in everywhere!
Eden House looks lovely! Key West is definitely on my radar; I’m hoping to tag it on a Disney road trip one day. I’m hoping to add New Orleans to our next one, though. Whenever that happens. I’ll keep this cute hotel in mind!

What a great little place. I love the hammocks and porch springs, and how unique to have the shower cubicle out there too. I love a boutique hotel that has a little character – and a cat

Definitely a Hemmingway vibe in Key West. We toured his home (which has ~50 polydactyl cats!) as well as Sloppy Joe’s – his old watering hole.
